About me

It's very simple: whether eating, writing or styling, I love good food.

I started working in recipe development and food styling after I finished my diploma course at Leith's School of Food and Wine over 10 years ago.

My first job was working for Seven Publishing, as part of the Creative Services Food Team. Gaining experience on advertorials, Live Well For Less magazine, recipe cards and cookery books for Sainsbury's.

After 3 years I moved to Delicious Magazine, starting as Deputy Food Editor, before being promoted in my last year to Acting Food and Lifestyle Editor. I was responsible for recipe writing, development, creative ideas, brief writing, food styling and proof reading.

Very excitingly I came second in the Pink Lady Food Stylist Award 2021.
